Tai Chi Chuan, or Tai Chi, as it is often called, is often translated as ‘the supreme ultimate’

Sometimes resembling a beautiful dance in slow-motion, sometimes a slowed-down martial art, it is suitable for people of any age due to its adaptability to the flexibility of the person, and its non-reliance on prior physical strength and fitness. It’s movements create very low impact on joints, so it makes it ideal for older as well as younger people to practice.

Tai Chi is considerably more than a form of exercise. It always gives such a feeling of ‘rejuvenating calmness’ (I know that sounds like a contradiction). It seems to relax and calm the body and mind, and yet gives you more energy and leaves you feeling more ‘balanced’ and ‘whole’.
